This week is National Health Center Week! We’re grateful to be in partnership with these Community Health Centers and Urban Indian Organizations across Montana.
Together, we form a medical legal partnership, where legal and healthcare professionals collaborate to provide holistic, wrap-around services. These partnerships help us address social and environmental factors that contribute to health disparities and have remedies in civil law.
If you visit one of these Community Health Centers or Urban Indian Organizations, your check-in forms might include questions about your housing, public benefits, tax problems, physical safety, and more. For example, you might go into an appointment for a blood draw, and leave with apple juice and a referral to MLSA to get help with debt collection harassment.
