Beginning in July 2026, there are new rules for some people on Medicaid. They’re sometimes called community engagement rules. Other times, you might see them called work requirements.
The rules say that some adults on Medicaid have to work or do other qualifying activities to get or keep Medicaid, but the rules do not apply to everyone on Medicaid.
We put together a resource to help people better understand these new Community Engagement rules. You can find the article on MontanaLawHelp.org through the link https://montanalawhelp.org/resource/what-are-new-medicaid-community-engagement-rules-do-they-apply-me
