Content note: This post discusses missing and murdered Indigenous people. Please take care of yourself.
Even as Missing and Murdered Indigenous Persons Awareness Month comes to an end, you can still find resources and information about community members and relatives who have gone missing in Montana.
One resource is the Montana Missing Indigenous Persons Database, maintained by the Montana Department of Justice and Montana Missing and Murdered Indigenous Persons Advisory Council. In this database, you can view and search a list of Indigenous people who are missing, including information on date of last contact, investigating agency, age, and a photo of the person. Visit https://app.dojmt.gov/apps/missingPersonDatabase/results.php?filter=indigenous to view the database.
