Klaus Sitte, Past MLSA Executive Director, Wins Jameson Award

 

The State Bar of Montana awarded former MLSA Executive Director Klaus Sitte with the prestigious Jameson Award during the Bar's dinner banquet September 19, 2013.

Named after the late Montana federal judge William J. Jameson, the award goes annually to the attorney who has exemplified the highest values of the legal profession throughout his or her career.

Sitte won the award for his many years of work providing civil legal help and access to justice for low-income and underserved Montanans.

Klaus Sitte wins Jameson Award

With MLSA from 1973-2012, Sitte served as a casehandling attorney and Executive Director. He is the Clinic Director and Director of Student Services at the University of Montana Law School in Missoula.
